Sometimes we wish our Android phone could have everything, and why not. Components are getting smaller and prices lower so it isn’t unreasonable to hope for features like NFC, OTG and MHL in one handset. Chinese phone maker Mogu agree!
Mogu have popped up on out radar of the past few months due to their insanely low price Android phones, but they are keen to prove that entry-level phones aren’t all they can do.
Gizchina News of the week
The Mogu M5 is set for release next month and from the specifications Mogu sent to us it’s a phone that want’s to appeal to as many as possible. The headline features are of course built-in NFC, OTG and MHL but that isn’t all. Mogu are promising OTA updates, HDMI out, an 8 mega-pixel rear camera, quad-core MT6589 CPU and 8 mega-pixel camera.
Pricing of the Mogu M5 will be announced closer to launch.
I only hope that they actually launch, instead of just hype and words…. Many in India are getting the impression about chinese products specially UMI X2…
You can blame the poor distributor for that
Yeah, the situation with UMI is ridiculous, pre order with token payments, phone calls, sms’s for confirmation, price increase, now giving away free beats earphones, all customers will now receive turbo models they say………………. the situation is just too confusing to buy or even care also the review samples they sent to most people were pre production units so no idea till now about the actual units for sale and how they perform.
Just going to correct your comment: “Yeah, the situation with UMI India is ridiculous, pre order with token payments, phone calls, sms’s for confirmation, price increase, now giving away free beats earphones, all customers will now receive turbo models they say………………. the situation is just too confusing to buy or even care also the review samples they sent to most people were pre production units so no idea till now about the actual units for sale and how they perform.”
