7.9-inch Cube U55GT Tablet on sale soon at $180


Tablet and phone maker Cube have announced they will soon be launching their iPad min inspired Cube U55GT tablet on the Chinese market.

The U55GT is a 7.9-inch Android tablet which measures just 7.4mm thick and is powered by Mediatek’s tablet specific quad-core MT8389 chipset. The MT8389 allows the mini tablet to connect to WIFI, GPS and WCDMA 3G networks and boasts similar performance and energy efficiency to the quad-core MT6589.

Other features include a 5 mega-pixel rear camera, 2 mega-pixel front, 1GB RAM, 16GB Memory, 1024 x 768 display, 4500mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
