News of the entry-level Oppo Find 7 has come from Oppo once again, as the company confirms partial specifications of the device.
The Find 7 1080 or Oppo Find 7 FHD, whatever it will be named at launch, has been the phone which has surfaced in leaks and benchmark more often to the range topping 2k QHD display model. As we have already seen benchmarks for the phone, these partial specifications, courtesy of Oppo’s Weibo account aren’t much of a surprise.
Gizchina News of the week
The hand written specs tell us the entry-level Find 7 will come equipped with a Snapdragon 800 processor, 5.5-inch display 1920 x 1080 display, 5 mega-pixel front camera, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory.
Oppo have purposely scribbled out the specs for the main camera, which could well be a 13 mega-pixel, multi-shop unit capable for producing 50 mega-pixel photos! (more details of multi-shot here).
Oppo have also confirmed that he Find 7 will have 4G LTE, a removable battery and micro SD card support, but have not mentioned if both versions of the Find 7 will benefit from these features.
The Find 7 will launch on 19th March in Beijing, prices are believed to start at around 3000 Yuan.

Classy! Hehe… leaks are not what they used to, where’s the blurry camera guy? 😉
Well, this is a bit underwhelming. It’s barely different than the Find 5. Let’s hope that the 2K version is a “category killer” in more ways than just the screen.
Have Oppo and Oneplus One got a good deal on a job lot of the S800 or something??? Seems that premium Chinese manufacturers are going backwards this year. Starting to think that the 2k version may not be the ‘killer’ phone I was hoping for.
Is the 0.3 GHz or 0.2GHz difference between the Snapdragon 800 and 801 really that drastic? It’s pretty much the same as far as I’m concerned. And we also don’t know what processor the 2K version.
Apparently it does to a lot of people. They like to walk around the street and be like “My phone has .3 GHz more than yours, haha” And then there are some people consider last year technology as ancient technology and no flagship phone should use last year technology. And then finally there are people who only buy phones solely base on GHz and GB of ram and nothing else matters.
801 supports dual-SIM, something like 25% faster graphics and a few more things.
I decided to do some reading on the Snapdragon chips on Anandtech, and what I found out was that there are 3 versions of both, Snapdragon 800 and 801. Two versions of Snapdragon 801 are rehashes of Snapdragon 800 chips, with the exact same name but with slightly upgraded capabilities and the other version is new. The top of the line Snapdragon 800 processor, which is the same one in the Xiaomi Mi3, is actually faster than the Snapdragon 801 processor in the Xperia Z2 in terms of GPU speed. The top end Snapdragon 801 CPU isn’t that fast compared to the top end Snapdragon 800 either. It is slightly faster, but probably not by 25%. It’s just a difference of 38MHz. Top end 801 should have an advantage on data transferring thanks to eMMC 5.0, but still not much of a game changer. That’s what I understood anyway.
Very nice! Thanks for the details 🙂
tired of this teasing marketing already…
Only 8 days till launch 🙂
Like I can order it and it will ship to me?

No idea sorry
Cool leak retro pen and paper, nice. Oppo are cool 🙂
