Bluboo announce that their latest phone, the Bluboo X550, will cost just $169.99 once released later this month.
Bluboo will be showing off their X550 phone in HongKong this week with plans to sell the phone internationally through online sellers. The X550 will be the first Bluboo device with a Mediatek MT6735 processor and Android 5.1 Lollipop. The X550 boasts a large 5350mAh battery for a claimed stand-by time of 30 days.
Gizchina News of the week
From the photos the phone looks to have dual rear speakers, a metal chassis and we can see capacitive buttons on the chin of the phone.
Features of the Bluboo X55o include an 8.9mm chassis, World 4G mode and a low $169.99 price tag. The X550 isn’t the only affordable phone in the Bluboo range, the also plan to release the C100 at only $99 with the same 64bit processor, Android 5.1 and 5-inch HD display!
We should hopefully receive the X550 for review soon.
For those of us in the U.S., this device will have the MT6735 chip which is being touted as the world mode 4G capable chip. When you do the review, could you go into engineer mode and show us all the 4G bands so we can confirm if this will get 4G in the U.S.? Thanks
6735 is the way to go for entry level phones. It`s cheap and it`s fast enough. The Snapdragon 410 is not enough for good multitasking.
Btw, love that Eraserhead avatar.
Is this brand the same as the “Blu” brand?
No. Blu is rebranding chinese phones for the american and european market.

Good to know they have such confidence in the junk they produce.
