Vivo X5Pro partially shown in latest teaser

vivo x5 pro

May is believed to be the month that we finally see the Vivo X5Pro, until then we will have to settle for teasers like the one above.

Vivo are set to launch another slim smartphone and are busying themselves with promoting the device ahead of launch. To date we know the phone will be named the X5Pro and that it will feature a 2.5D glass display.

Teasers also confirm that Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android 5.0 (seen below) will make an appearance on the latest Vivo device, and if these images are to be believed the phone also appears to have a metal alloy chassis and it seems to have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Gizchina News of the week

The Vivo X5Pro will likely be another thin device, but Vivo seem to have retained some bezel on their phone. In comparison rivals Oppo have been showing off spy video and photos of their bezel-less Oppo R7, while ZTE claim their flagship Nubia Z9 will also be free of side bezel.

What are you expectations for the upcoming Vivo X5Pro? Are you even interested in this device or are you more interested in the next generation Vivo Xshot and Vivo Xplay phones?

If you don’t like FunTouch, you could always install a 3rd party launcher like Nova, Action or Apex. Looks like a very attractive phone though.

The only problem I have with Funtouch is that Apps cannot be ordered in most recent used or alphabetical order. You have to do it manual. Only limitation has resulted in me moving to a different launcher.
