Lenovo Vibe X3, X3 Lite will launch 3rd week in December

Expect December to be a packed month for tech enthusiasts. Not only will manufacturers and stores be running discounts this festive season, but a few launches are set to take place in the favourite month of many as well.

Besides Xiaomi’s launch event, Lenovo too is expected to take centerstage on the 16th December to announce two long overdue devices — the Lenovo Vibe X3 and the Vibe X3 Lite.

If you’ve been a good GizChina reader you probably know enough about the phones. In case you don’t: the Vibe X3 is a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p phone with a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. Like other Vibe-series phones, this one’s going to be heavy on the camera side of things too, with a 21 mega-pixel rear snapper.

The Vibe X3 Lite on the other hand is, as the name suggests, a subdued Vibe X3. It’ll have a MediaTek MT6753T SoC along with 2GB of RAM and a 13 mega-pixel rear shooter. The display is expected to be the same 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p panel.

As for the pricing, Lenovo seems to be in the mood to take down some giant mid-rangers with a $200 pricing for the Vibe X3 and $140 for the Vibe X3 Lite.

Don’t get your hopes up, the vibe z2 had a 16mp shooter with f2.0 aperture and it was crap!

yo yo the vibe had a perfectly good camera with the super camera app, but there where a lot of users who said that their camera was worse which was confirmed by a lot of guys

dont get too much excited, X3 will be definitely in range of $230-$250 and lite one will be in $170 range.

3GB ram, SD 808 and 21 MP camera it sure as hell is not a $200 device

          thats the likely scenario

for $250, even $300, if it’s well built then it worth the money.
they sell last year specced phones for that kinda of money (zuk, opx)

Will never touch another Lenovo, worst rom ever. Still no mention of the vibe z2 replacement as the original is over 14 months old and due an update.

Snapdragon 808 for 200$, sound nice

  5. November 9, 2015

The pricing seems a bit unreal…

Why did they invested a lot of money into Zuk if they are going to kill it so soon? Something is not quite all right with this picture.
