CUBOT Dinosaur plans to solve the eternal mobile issues

According to the company statement, CUBOT Dinosaur is planning on addressing the main issues, which bother the smartphone users since the beginning of the mobile age. Yes, they are talking about the legendary perfect ratio of battery capacity, weight, thickness and ideal grip. If the Dinosaur is going to be the answer remains to be seen.

Let’s take a look at the first part of the proposed solution for battery capacity. CUBOT Dinosaur will feature high capacity 4150 mAh battery allegedly capable of 600 hours of stand-by time or 30 hours talk time. But well theory is one thing and real usage another, because in my experience a heavy user burns battery with similar capacity in just one day. Maybe im the exception, because my phone is constantly glued to my hand and it’s my most important work tool, but still. How about you ? How’s your experience with theoretical vs. real battery endurance ? Let us know in the comment section.

Gizchina News of the week

But back to the prehistoric lizard – Dinosaur is a 5.5-inch phone with HD display, with quad-core MT6735A chipset and design similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 3. Phone will support LTE bands 1/3/7/20 and comes with 3GB RAM, 16GB memory and Android 6.0 out of the box. Weighs 185g and our sources expect its availability in the second half of April. Price will be announced just before the actual release, but shouldn’t be anything brutal for the wallet.

Sorry Cubot, but Doogee were first to this scheme.
Releasing phone after phone with a different design and the same entry-level SoC and selling it at the price of mid-range SoC phone.

Best of all it has Dual SIM AND (!!!) tf card. So that makes it a deal for me. Like that they now have a tri color notification led and it seems to be made well from what I’ve seen…

tackle battery thickness like in the qiku q terra, make it a T-shaped battery, sad to see simple innovative things like these not being adopted because its not a big oem -_-, its like no one is trying to re-invent anything nobody it seems is trying to challenge the norm everybody is like WELL batteries are always rectangular so lets just leave it that way
