Android 6.0 coming also for Blackview BV5000

Chinese company Blackview is not focusing only on the upcoming model BV6000, but also still trying to show some care for its BV5000 predecessor and preparing the Android 6.0 update for it. It should be coming via OTA on 9th May.

The update should be bringing better system responsiveness, better battery management and longevity, more user friendly UI, option to uninstall some of the bloatware apps even without root privileges and also new notification bar.

Let’s go through the Blackview BV5000 specs, because it’s available for sale and with the Android 6.0 update coming it could be one of the interesting choices for cheap outdoor phone with good price/performance ratio. It can be found for example in here for 112.99$.

No need for insults bro. My BV5000 and many other people’s came loaded with it. It was a nightmare. Go to the Blackview forum and search. You’ll see it and the same stock garbage replies from the admin there over the last few months. No more Blackview for me and I’m entitled to caution others too.

Probably because you are all idiots running a rom modified by a reseller. Learn to flash the real rom directly from Blackview.

Agreed and a few problems with any brand isn’t representative either. Unless of course it affects you personally. This is my first chinaphone with Malware and I’ve had Lenovo, Jiayu, iNew, Nubia, Xiaomi and others over the years. I think I am qualified to comment.

Did you reflash your phone properly with a rom that was provided by Blackview and no one else? Otherwise, you are not qualified.
