    Freaking MT6753!
It’s flooding the market the same way the MT6582 did.

It’s really not a bad chip especially for a phone which focusing on efficiency, the problem is the $400 price tag for a MT6753. This will be a good phone when it’s sold as the new Blu Energy and retails for around $140.

I know it’s not bad as a entry level, I’m disappointed because I would have considered buying this phone with a Helio X10-X20 SD650-SD652

I knew it wouldn’t have SD 650/652. Gionee mostly uses Mediatek in phones like this. I actually expected P10.

            Anything but MT6753!

why can’t we have helio x10 as the common driver for most phones ?

it must be a hell lotta cheaper right now … since it was first used in early-mid 2015 , right ?

          May 18, 2016

It’s tough to figure out SoC prices without BoMs from all brands but I would guess the price of the X10 is cheaper but not as cheap as the 6753.

Also we don’t know the availability of the X10. Mediatek might not have enough stock of the X10 to meet the demand for these types of phones.

*sigh* they just wont let the poor 6753 DIE in peace :/

Although the “old” chip, I’ve gotta say that is one beautiful device.

Absolutely beautiful but crap hardware. I would have bought this without hesitation, my two years old Oppo Find 7 needs replacing.
