Smartwear devices are still quite popular despite the significant drop with smartwatch sales, but the smartbands on the other hand are on the rise. But customer is picky and such devices are not as prone to the “moral” and performance aging as their phone counterparts.
Among the most popular smartbands on the global market are surely the Xiaomi smartbands and with the smashing success of the first Mi Band the Band 1s and Band 2 just followed suit. And because success is inspirational no wonder other companies are trying to do something similar. And that’s exactly the case with Cubot and their new V1 smartband.
Gizchina News of the week
Cubot V1 is in many aspects very similar to the Xiaomi Mi Band 2, but still there are some differences. And because for comparisons it’s best to look at a video, we have just that for you and you can check the detailed comparison analysis of these two smartbands there.
The price is of course a deciding factor for many customers and here we can see the Cubot V1’s possible advantage point, because its price tag is roughly $14 while the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 costs about $40, which is a pretty significant difference. Is it worth it though? Let us know in the comments below what do you think about that.
Nice video. Why do you not mention the heart rate sensor?
Can you compare the MiBand with the Teclast H30 which has a HR sensor?
Can you look at the apps as well? Do they interface with Google Fit or Runkeeper?
bad comparison made by cubot staff about cubot product
they shoud compare their product with Miband 1s…but then, price woudn’t be on side of Cubot.
Pfff… Cubot worker says Cubot is much better then Mi Band 2. Saying such stupid thing about Mi Band 2, that its screen will be broken and the strap is not comfortable enough. Jesus christ faking chinese idiot. Cubot sucks, everyone knows it. The LCD screen is way better on Mi Band 2 and the time is not turned in wrong direction like on Cubot. Only idiots will buy this crap Cubot band. A very-very weak copy of the Mi Band 2.
