Dual-rear camera Honor 6X shows up on TENAA (Photos)

Honor 6X

Honor has seen quite a growth in the past months. The Huawei sub-brand has caught the customers’ attention with their high-quality, and often budget-friendly devices. And, a few days after the launch of the Honor 8, Honor is coming out with a mid-range smartphone which will sport a dual camera setup, the Honor 6X.

As we can observe in the photo above the Honor 6X features a couple of cameras on the back, to which we are steadily starting to get used to seeing from Huawei/Honor.

Gizchina News of the week

The TENAA certificate didn’t release any specifications so we aren’t aware of the pixel count or if one of them is B/W like on the bigger brothers. That said, although cameras are placed differently, it’s safe to assume they will have very similar overall functionalities.

Huawei Honor 6X Specifications (Rumoured)

Although these specifications are nothing but rumors, the Honor 6X could sport a 5.5″ Full HD display, we could see 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable). It’ll probably be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 with the EMUI skin on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Since TENAA is already showing the phone in their database, we can expect the Honor 6X to launch very soon. Stay tuned!

Not sure if it will be cheap, but knowing Honor’s pricing it will remain attractive.
SD625 seems a very, very descent SoC indeed. Enough computing power and nice power efficiency.

Except in the case of the Honor 8 where they added it and priced it hundreds cheaper than the similarly equipped P9.

Are the current budget phones (LeEco Cool1, LeEco 2 x520/x620, Redmi Note 4 or 360 N4 or Huawei Honor 6x) worth upgrading to from an UMi eMax? Are Dual Camera pictures worth it compared to the photos from an UMi eMax?

If priced right, like the Honor 5c, it would provide good sales in Indian market, which is hungry for a low mid range phone below INR 15k, with really decent imaging solution. As the SOC is SD 625 a much more efficient one, battery life should be good.
