Xiaomi Mi 6/Mi 6 Plus official prices and variants leak!

It seems that Xiaomi is working hard to prepare their upcoming flagship models for their official unveiling next month, just a couple of weeks after Samsung unveils their Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus models.

Ahead of their upcoming announcement, the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus pricing details have leaked online and – if they’re legit- they look awesome for those of us who are eager to buy them! The leak not only informs us on their upcoming prices but also all their storage variants as you can see below:

Gizchina News of the week

Xiaomi Mi 6 – Purported pricing details

  • 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant will cost 1999 Yuan ($290)
  • 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant will cost 2,299 Yuan ($333)
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant will cost 2,699 Yuan ($391)

Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus – Purported pricing details

  • 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant will cost 2599 Yuan ($377)
  • 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM variant will cost 2,999 Yuan ($435)
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant will cost 3499 Yuan ($507)

Obviously we cannot verify these prices at this time, but if they prove to be true, then the  4GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant of the Xiaomi Mi 6 will possibly be the most affordable Snapdragon 835 smartphone ever! Note however that this 4GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant could be equipped with a Snapdragon 821 SoC, unlike the other two that will surely use the almighty Snapdragon 835 SoC.

We will know more on this during the coming days, and we’ll surely let you know.

Sorry, I meant MI 5 Plus being 5.7 which is also the size of their Mi Note series.

Nope. the Redmi Note series are 5.5 inch, so that is why they did go for the 5.7 inch for the mi plus series.

        • March 25, 2017

Yes, the Redmi Note series is 5.5 but NOT the Mi Note, which is 5.7 – these are two different models. So, the Mi 5 Plus and the Mi Note will be the same size and both supposedly flagship level phones.

You’re right, I was confusing the Redmi series with the normal flagship Note series, my bad. I do get your point as to how it’s strange that they make two flagship devices with a 5.7″ screen, no clue why they wouldn’t make one of them 5.5″.

            • March 25, 2017

Actually, they have THREE 5.7 inch phones, the recent Mi Note 2 is probably the most expensive, the upcoming Mi 6 Plus and then the slightly older Mi 5S Plus, currently the lower priced of the 3 but all with 5.7 inch displays – I suppose they appeal to different markets. Certainly the Mi Note 2 with its curved display is hard to beat for looks. I imagine the differences between the Mi 5S/5SPlus and the Mi 6/6Plus will be fairly incremental, the latter mainly being newer, but must have SD 835 to be really superior as the 5S/5SPlus have SD821.

These prices sound good but if the Mi 6 has no SD card slot, as the Mi 5 didn’t, then the 32 GB option is a bit limited as a 2017 phone.

For me 32GB is actually overkill lol.

True, but it totally depends on what kind of user you are. 32GB would be more than enough for me, and even I am a power user. However, when i’m on a holiday I want a lot of videos/movies on my phone, so then the 64GB would come in handy.

I have to say that I am surprised they will be offering a 5.7 Mi 6 instead of say, 5.5 inches given that they already have a 5.7 inch Note series.
