Xiaomi unveils its Mi 360° Panoramic Camera, it costs $246!


Xiaomi continues to expand its portfolio of gadgets for any type of occasion and today launched it new Mi Panoramic camera which is capable of taking 360° panoramic photos (as its name implies).

The impressive tiny camera is equipped with a 23.88MP sensor, it’s capable of recording 3.5K videos and was unveiled during the Mi Pad 3 launch event, as a… bonus. It comes with an impressive square design and packs a fisheye lens at the front and back which guarantees a 360-degree view. Obviously, it can also be used as a normal camera that has support for 4 different operation modes, to suit any occasion.

Mi 360° Panoramic Camera

The Mi 360° Panoramic Camera is ideal for those of you out there who like extreme sports or similar out-door events, it’s IP67 certified for water/dust resistance and features a 6-axis electronic anti-shake function. It comes with its own dedicated app for your smartphone, where you can edit your wide-angle photos/videos and it’s priced currently at 1699 Yuan (~$246).

It is planned to go on sale from April 6 on Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi’s official flagship store on Lynx, Mi Mall, Jingdong etc. all at the same time.
