We all know that the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is one of the best selling wearables in the market and a decent gadget for all those wearable fans out there, packing a heart rate sensor and full IP67 certification at a really affordable price.
The Mi Band 2 was originally launched in graphite black color, with the option to buy one extra strap in green but now – thankfully- Xiaomi added a new blue strap to the “family”. Obviously we can find hundreds of third party straps in the market available in so many colors like red, orange (which Xiaomi advertises but isn’t available for purchase), blue, purple, yellow, pink and even gold! These 3rd party straps cost a mere 3$ each and are quite cheaper than the original.
Gizchina News of the week
However Xiaomi mentions that their straps are skin-friendly and have an “anti-lost” design. If you’re interested in this specific color for the Mi Band 2 strap, you will have to buy something worth ¥150 ($22) from Mi.com in order for them to ship it to you.
On the other hand you can buy 7 3rd party straps for the same price. You decide 😉
