Gizchina News of the week

So, this video leaked earlier today and shows a Vivo X9 Plus-like smartphone with no dedicated capacitive fingerprint sensor (like most smartphones have these days) but the guy still manages to “unlock” just by touching the display. According to industry analyst Pan Jiutang Vivo will be the first in the under screen optical fingerprint scanner game, whilst Apple will more likely bring this technology into the ‘global mainstream’.

According to the latest rumors however, Vivo will be holding an event on June 28 within the Shanghai MWC conference, possibly to reveal the prototype you just saw in the video above.
