Do you remember Facebook’s Moments App? Well, don’t be surprised if the answer is no. The application was released back in 2015, as a platform that would allow users to share photos with friends, but due to the lack of interest, the giant company will be dropping the app on February 25.
In a statement given by Facebook to CNET, the company will continue to work on methods that will allow users to save memories within the Facebook App, but since the Moments App had almost no interest from users, the company will be discontinuing the platform on the next month.
“We’re ending support for the Moments app, which we originally launched as a place for people to save their photos. We know the photos people share are important to them so we will continue offering ways to save memories within the Facebook app.”

The company ensures that users who have uploaded pictures through the Moments app will be able to retrieve their photos from the app even after February 25. Anyway, if you’re one of the few users using the platform, you can head up to this website that will allow exporting all your images. That option will be available until May.
You can download your images through any device, but your Facebook Password will be required before. Also, the backup tool will allow you to transfer all your Moments pictures to an Album on Facebook’s main application.
