Huawei sends out invites for MWC19, points at a foldable phone

Following recent rumors and leaks pointing to a possible unveiling of a Huawei foldable phone in the coming days, the Chinese firm has now given us what looks like the first official confirmation of the foldable phone. In preparation for the MWC19 later this month, the Chinse firm has issued out media invite inviting the press and the public to its MWC19 conference in Barcelona on February 24th.

There isn’t a clear mention of what the highlight of the event could be, however, the invite has an image of what appears to be the folding arm and side profile of a foldable phone, so it is pretty evidence the much-rumored Huawei phone will be presented on the said date.

The firm had earlier confirmed that its 5G smartphones powered by Balong 5000 will be released at the MWC, so the foldable phone will likely come with 5G or a separate 5G phone could also be in the offing.
