Samsung: There is no release date for the new Galaxy Fold

According to the latest reports, the improved version of the Samsung Galaxy Fold has successfully passed the durability test. The company believes that the defects that were in the previous Galaxy Fold are gone. This indicates that the new Galaxy Fold will soon hit the market. However, Samsung has officially said that there is no release date for the new Galaxy Fold.

Samsung’s spokespersons in the Czech Republic and Slovakia knows nothing about the re-release of Galaxy Fold. When asked about the device, spokesperson David Sahula said: “We don’t have any new information for Galaxy Fold.”. It is either Sahula does not have current information on this device or its not yet time to make it public. As of last week, there was a spy photo of the Galaxy Fold on the New Delhi subway.

Earlier this month, Samsung Electronics CEO, DJ Koh, admitted the Galaxy Fold was released prematurely. He also said: “Samsung Galaxy Fold will arrive at the appropriate time, give us some time”. These are signs that Samsung is not eager to release and sell the new Galaxy Fold. For the previous release, it appears that Samsung was in a hurry to beat the Huawei Mate X. Interestingly, none of these smartphones have hit the market months after their initial announcement. Samsung has a new product launch at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on August 7. The company will release the Galaxy Note 10 series and Galaxy Watch Active 2. We do not know if the company will use the opportunity to re-release the new Galaxy Fold.
