Found Galaxy AI Amazing? Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Could Take It To The Next Level

At the AI Semiconductor Forum, Samsung confirmed that Google Gemini Nano 2 will be powering the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. To fill you in, it’s the Gemini Nano that powers the current S24 series. Thanks to this model, the entire Android phone lineup can perform a good number of on-device AI tasks.

While the current features that Galaxy AI offers do a great job of enhancing the user experience, Galaxy S25 will take things to the next level. Of course, we still don’t know what to experience. However, Chulmin Jo, the Corporate Vice President of System LSI at Samsung Semiconductor, said that Samsung will hold a meeting with Google in the coming week. This meeting could reveal more about the features that the upcoming phones could get with Gemini Nano 2.

What is Google Gemini Nano? What Could the Second Version of the Galaxy S25 Series Bring?

Gemini Nano is a special AI model. Google designed it to run directly on your phone. At the current stage, two of the flagship lineups that run the model are Google Pixel 8 series and Galaxy S24 series. The good thing about having an AI model in the device is being able to perform AI-related tasks without an internet connection.

Yes, the Nano naming could make it sound like a less capable model. But it part of the bigger Gemini family of AI models from Google DeepMind. It’s the most lightweight version. Given the lightweight nature of the model, Samsung and Google integrated it directly into their flagship phones. But what about Gemini Nano 2, which will be in the Galaxy S25 series?
