SinoSat 6 Enters Orbit


China launched it’s 6th SinoSat satellite in to orbit this morning (Sunday) at 12:14 am. The new satellite, which will take the place of SinoSat 3 will live in a geostationary orbit at 35,700 kilometers above the equator for the next 15 years.
It’s primary job will be relaaying TV and radio live broadcast signals boosting signal strength for those living in more remote or mountainous areas in China.
