China has finally given a network license to the iPhone 4 meaning it could be on schedule for it’s September 15th launch date on the China Unicom network.
Two models of iPhone 4 will be available. A 16Gb model for 5880 Yuan and a 32Gb version for 6999 Yuan, which is about the same price as the current grey market models.
The Chinese model of the iPhone 4 will support HSDPA and HSUPA, and will use the WAPI WIFI, which is the Chinese National Standard for wireless LAN’s.
