The aviation industry has been in overdrive this week in China bringing 4 firsts to the country’s airspace. 2 planes, 1 jet, 1 amphibious, a helicopter and a lady!

The first piece of news with an air of aeronautical importance was the maiden flight of China’s first light civilian helicopter. Known as the AC311 this multi-purpose whirlybird has been designed for training, fire prevention and police work and is planned to go on world wide sale.
Next up, was news that the ARJ-21 passenger jet had made its debut at Zhuhai air show in Guangdong province on 9th November. If you happen to be in South China the jet developed by state-backed Commercial Aircraft Corporation will be on show until 16th November.
