The Flytouch is no stranger to Gizchina. We reported on the plucky 7 inch Android tabletlast month with a showdown between it and current tablet favourite the ePad. Back then we concluded the Flytouch was a much better buy at 1800 Yuan ($270) over the ePad, so imagine our surprise when we find the Flytouch out and about without it’s branding and retailing at 800 Yuan ($120) less!
Because the company selling Flytouch branded devices doesn’t own the design for the tablet the factory is free to make as many as they like for whoever they like and at much lower costs. The model here is completely devoid of branding and can be found online for as little as 1000 Yuan ($150).
The very generous 6000 mAh battery will last around 3 hours of continuous use and a HDMI out means you can hook it up to your TV and share photos or video.
As well as the HDMI port there’s are 2x micro SD card reader (one for maps the other for media), 2x USB, Ethernet, 2x speakers and built in microphone.
All this is wrapped up in a comfortable to carry light weight (680g) plastic shell topped with a 1000 Yuan price tag!
