The M9 has been a long time coming, but with a network license on the horizon CEO Jack Wong has been hitting up the forums again with detail on the M9’s planned pricing.
The plan for the M9 is for it to get a similar deal as the iPhone 4 currently employs meaning a straight up fee and a 2 year contract which entitles users to 3G access and 900 free minutes a month. The iPhone 4 plan is currently priced at 5880 Yuan for the 16 Gb phone then 286 Yuan per month.
Meizu’s Jack Wong hopes to undercut the competition by a large margin and plans to sell the 8 Gb M9 for 2499 Yuan with a 2 year contract and monthly line rental of 186 Yuan per month, the 16 Gb model will cost 2699 for the phone but with the same monthly charges.

Wong added that these plans are only what he hopes he can arrange for the much anticipated Android phone and that an agreement has yet to be finalized with any carrier.
