If I saw this huge barge partially submerged in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbor I’d get straight on the phone and get someone with blue flashing lights to do something! Anything! And that’s what many Hong Kong citizens did, after mistakenly thinking the Zhong Ren barge was doing it’s finest Titanic impersonation.
In actual fact the barge was carrying out reclamation and was over loaded with extremely heavy materials giving the vessel the appearance it was sinking.Despite authorities claiming this was ‘all part of the plan’ I’m pretty sure the design brief of a container ship doesn’t cover undersea adventures!
