China’s J-20 stealth fighter (known locally as 歼20) completed it’s first testflight at 12:50 on the 11th January 2011. The 18 minute testflight was deemed a success not only by it’s pilot and those involved in the development, but also by the Chinese public.

The Jian 20 was accompanied by a J-10S combat training jet and a crowd of excited onlookers outside the airport while completing it’s testflight.
