If you needed more proof that China’s rich are getting wealthier and wealthier a new contract between Hong Kong based Ta Kung Pao and Europe’s Eurocopter to produce luxury helicopters on the mainland should be evidence enough.

The recently signed deal will see luxury helicopters with seating for between 6 – 8 passengers and powered by turbo-charged engines made at facilities in Wenzhou and Changshu. The private copters will cost from 30-60 million Yuan and are expected to be ready for delivery sometime next year.
