Looking at Apple’s latest profits, and judging by where a large chunk of those profits come from, China incase you don’t check out the link, it makes perfect sense when we here Apple is planning to open at least 25 new stores in the mainland by the end of 2012.

However, we were pretty surprised that the latest edition to the Apple store family, to be built in Shanghai, will take up 5 floors of the 22 story Henderson Metropolitan building on Nanjing East Rd!
5 whole floors of Apple products sounds pretty fantastic to us, but what on earth are they planning to fill all that space with?
Well, according to a recent survey conducted by Apple, customers will more than likely take up most of the square meter-age. As it turns out Chinese Apple stores are visited by up to 40,000 customers per day! That’s 4x more than U.S stores and all the more impressive when you realize there are only 4 official Apple stores nationwide in China!
