We have previously posted that RIM, the Waterloo makers of Blackberry devices, were currently planning on allowing
Android Application to work on their up coming Playbook tablet, however
new evidence points to the idea that
RIM may allow Android applications to run on a larger number of
RIM devices.
The
news, reported by BGR, points to analytics data from the ShopSavvy
Android application. The stats
show that 3 different Blackberry handhelds had accessed the ShopSavvy servers running the Android
application. What’s more the location of the 3 devices were all from the Waterloo area of Canada!
It seems that
RIM are taking the idea of
Android on their devices much more seriously than previously thought!
