Amazon App Store To Launch March 22nd



According to a trusted source over at Wired Amazon.com’s version of the Android application store will go live before the end of this month, 22nd March 2011 to be exact.
The Amazon Android application store which will be modeled more on Apple’s app store than the current Android market, with developers having to pass an approval process before their applications are made available. Dev’s will also have the opportunity to DRM protect their apps to to help prevent piracy.

The Amazon Application store will be available through a dedicated Android application or via the online web-store located at http://www.amazon.com/apps which accidentally went live earlier this week.
