Say what you (or we) will about
Apple, but we have to admit they do have pretty great customer service. The latest show of consumer
love by
Apple was by way of sending a customer a
free iPad!
The story which was retold by employees involved in this case of generosity expalined that
Apple have been keeping tabs on why people return their products and in particular the
iPad. While sifiting through the
paper work explaing the various reasons customers had returned their iPads,
Apple emplyees came across a
note that simply send 'Wife said no'.
News of the
note spread thoughout
Apple and eventually reached a couple of
Apple head honchos who decided to send the
iPad back to the customer free of charge with a
note saying '
Apple said yes'!
