LePad Launched And 3 More Lenovo Tablets On the way!


Lenovo after month of teasing us with their tablet offering the LePad Android tablet, have finally launched the 10 inch machine to compete with Apple’s iPad and the slew of domestically made machines.

Like most other manufactures Lenovo are marketing the LePad tablet in either an entry level Wi-Fi only model and a 3G version with prices starting as low as 3500 Yuan  ($530) which is 700 Yuan more than current iPad 1 pricing. The 10 inch tablet uses a capacative screen and supports mulit-touch and uses the Google developed Android 2.2 OS.

Lenovo have great plans for the LePad and claim they will have up to 8000 Applications available for the tablet device by the end of the year! What’s more Lenovo have also hinted at the possibility of a LePad 2 and even a LePad 3 seeing daylight before 2011 comes to an end!
