G Five’s Dual Boot WisPad is Hilariously Sexy!

G Five are a brand of misfits if this beautiful Windows 7/Android 2.2 dual boot tablet is anything to go by!
The engineers seem to know what they’re doing as this super thin 9.7 inch screened tablet can boot in to either Windows 7 for some ‘serious’ computing, or can boot in to Android Froyo 2.2 so to enjoy the thousands of apps Android users have at their disposal.
The design team also appear to have their heads correctly and tightly screwed on as this is seriously one of the sleekest, smoothest and down right sexiest tablet we’ve seen of any company!

No, its the guys in the marketing department we’re most worried about! The brand name G Five is more 90’s boy band material rather than high-tech electronics company. And what about that model name! WisPad! I seriously hope they expect consumers to be pronouncing that ‘s’ as an ‘S’ and not a ‘z’! There’s no way I would be pulling my WizPad out at the coffee shop! no matter how good looking it is!

Gizchina News of the week

Actually the makers of the WisPad are known locally as Kivu (better) and they are expecting this little multi-touch beauty to sell by the thousands in India, Africa, South America and throughout Asia.

Under the super sexy 14mm thick aluminum chassis lies an Intel Atom N455 CPU, 1Gb RAM, a choice of either a 16 or 32DB SSD hard drive plus all the usually suspects such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and built in 3G.

Judging from the images here the WisPad also looks to get 2 x USB 2.0 and possibly either an SD card reader of HDMI out.

There’s no word on price yet but Kivu are hoping to launch the WisPad soon so we’ll keep you up to date.
