The baby of the iPod family, the iPod Nano, has been on sale in China since September 2010 and in that relatively short time it has seen more clones and knock-offs than Chinese traffic jams have seen cars!
The love boat of iPod Nano cloning is about to come to an abrupt end however as Apple have finally been granted 11 patents for the little media player.
The patents cover all aspects of the design, user interface and even the FM radio! Meaning it’s going to be more difficult for the clone makers to get away with blatant rip-off-ery.
