Now that Chinese tablets have finally come of age, we are beginning to see more 7 inch units which cross over from tablet to smart phone in the way that they function.

This tablet named the E7, is one such device, which gives you all the benefits of a larger screen tablet, but thanks to the Qualcomm MSM7227 chip, allows you to access 3G data, GPS and make phone calls.
One big difference between this 7 inch capacitive screened tablet and others we’ve seen is the fact that the E7 is actually a pretty good looking unit with a rather good specification; Android 2.2, 8Gb Memory, 600 Mhz cpu, 512mb Ram, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and bluetooth!
With a specification like this, a very thin and fashionable profile (197 x 120 x 13.5mm) and relatively low price, 1900 Yuan ($290) we imagine to see a few E7’s at the local coffee shops in coming months.
It’s just a shame there are no built in cameras and that cpu is a 1Ghz unit!
