As you may or may not be aware the newest version of Jailbreak me, 3.0, went live a few weeks ago, and as you would have expected Apple has patched the exploit with an upgrade! But the bad news doesn’t stop there!
Apple has been playing Cat and Mouse with iOS hackers for years now, but has the chase finally come to an end?
The latest iOS upgrade, 4.3.4 patches an exploit which allowed iPad, iPhone and iPod users to easily jailbreak their devices. The Jailbreak relied on an exploit which meant the firmware of an iOS device could be hacked simply by opening a PDF file on a website.

Obviously this meant those less tech savy iOS users were able to hack their Apple machines, but also left a nasty security hole wide open, so Apple fixed it!
Worst of all thought is the fact that Mac users on OSX 10.7 Lion have reported that iDevices refuse to downgrade even with SHSH blobs saved after the iOS upgrade!
But it gets worse still. With iOS 5 on the horizon many a hacker will bypass Jailbreaking 4.3.4 in favor of working on the latest OS.
So, if your stuck on 4.3.4 it may be sometime before you jail broken again!
