The MOMO 8 is one of the latest breed of Android tablets from China that brings almost all the hardware specifications we crave, but not quite, much like a Wifi only iPad in fact!
The sleek black fronted body with white back houses 2 cameras, 0.3 front for video calling and 2 mega-pixel for catching low resolution photos.
The 8 inch screen is a 5 point multi-touch capitative unit with a resolution of 1024×768.
Powering the Android 2.3 system is a Rockchips RK2918 CPU clocked at 1Ghz, 512m RAM and 8 Gb of storage, plenty for a few movies.
Gizchina News of the week
Battery life is expected to be around the 5 hour mark thanks to the rather large 4200mAh battery.
You also get a HDMI out, USB, micro SD card reader, mini USB and headphone jack.
Unfortunately the Momo 8 lacks 2 features which would make it truly awesome, 3G and GPS, but as it is it an affordable Android tablet which would give the iPad 2 Wi-Fi model a run for its money.
I have bought one of these three days ago in a chinese website, I´m expecting my new toy hoping it will be as goog as you tell.
The price was $214,69.

Some Chinese Android tablets are as good as Apple iPad.
Had a not so good experience with this manufacturer. Support is spotty although they do have a sales manager who speaks English. Installed ROM was buggy and they refused to update it. Had it checked by a dev and he said that it was pretty messy. Good thing he patched it up for me. Won’t buy again from them.
