The second official build on Android 2.3 Gingerbread has been released for the Meizu M9. This latest firmware features a whole bunch of bug fixes along with some nice UI tweaks and added WLAN Ad-hoc support.

– Power widget removed, now you can access all its features when you double-click the Home button – you can even select available WiFi hotspots here
– The Music controls on the lock screen should be available when you press the Menu button (had to double-click Home button previously)
– Fluency of Camera settings increased – personally think the viewfinder is even more fluent
– Added support for video files with dts audio
– Built-in full version Office (might have to buy it when you want to edit something – not sure about the translation)
– small caller icon when you don’t have any offline picture or Flyme account setup
– Flyme account can now sync Call Records, Notes, Calendar and other information
– Shutdown menu now has 5 icons (Flight mode, and “Turn off phone” are the new ones”
– Browser will show thumbnails of websites when displaying the open tabs list

– Adjusted the layout of Mstore and added sharing function
– Added a “Find my phone” feature – need to download separate app from Mstore
– Gallery app can now display animated GIF images
– Adjusted the UI of some applications (Recorder app for sure…)

– Added option to select images from Gallery when setting up wallpaper from the desktop
– New desktop Folder icon
– Background choosing for SMS has been redesigned
