It’s taken a surprisingly long time for Japanese electronics manufacturers to embrace the tablet market, but now that they are here they really are attempting to make a splash (pun intended).
One of the more innovative tablet designs we have spotted recently is this, Arrow tablet from Fujitsu.
Gizchina News of the week
The Arrows comes spec’d with all the goodies we have come to expect from high end Android tablets, such as a 10.1-inch WXGA display, TI IMAP4430 1GHz dual-core processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, LTE connectivity, along with GSM and GPRS compatibility for roaming abroad, also a pair of CMOS cameras, 16GB of on-board storage, micro-USB and standard headphone connectors, and a microSD card slot, but unlike most all of this is housed in a waterproof body!
There are no details on pricing or how deep underwater the Arrows will operate, but expect Fujitsu to launch their waterproof tablet this September.
