Dell’s Mini i3i faux smartphone was recently released here in China, and with very little fanfare. The i3i has the makings to be a great smartphone, a 3.2 inch touch screen and an Android operating system, but lacks decent connectivity i.e no WIFI or 3G! Pretty huge functions to missing for a phone squarely aimed at the iPhone, Google Phone market.

Even with those limitations in mind it hasn’t stopped the clones from rolling off the production line. M.I.C Gadget has the skinny on the Dell i3i clone, a phone they sum up as “Just a phone with a Dell logo”.
The knockoff still lacks WIFI and 3G but costs a fraction of the Dell’s price! 600RMB ($88), even at this price we still wouldn’t want one and would probably go for a Sciphone G2 instead, which packs more features and costs around 200RMB less.
