Shenzhen based Visture keep surprising with their amazing well designed and feature packed Android tablets. Yesterday we brought you news of the Visture V1 complete with it’s V Case, a faux Apple Smartcase, now we have news of the Visture V2 tablet!
The V2 gets just as great a looking exterior design as the V1.
The alloy backed body measures 12.5mm thick and weighs in at 1.21 pounds for the Wi-Fi only model, while the Wi-fi and 3G enabled V2 tablet weighs a little more at 1.28 pounds.
Again it’s great to see a Chinese manufacturer offer both a budget Wi-fi model along side a fully feature packed 3G version of it’s tablet. Not only does it give consumers of all budgets an option, but it also gives a sense of commitment and attention to detail, something which other Chinese electronics makers seem to miss.
While the Visture V1 gets a 10 inch capacitive touch screen, the V2 gets a smaller 8 inch capacitive screen with a resolution of 1260 x 768 and a pixel density of 188ppi.
Gizchina News of the week
Again the fact that Visture are even mentioning their pixel density shows an understanding of the market, never-the-less 188ppi is nothing to really boast about in today’s climate.
On the specification front the V2 Android Gingerbread tablet looks just as good as the it’s bigger brother the V1:
- 8 inch screen
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS
- 1Ghz Samsung CPU
- 512MB RAM
- PowerVR GPU for enhanced 3D graphics
- Rear camera 5.0 mega-pixel
- Front camera 1.3 mega-pixel
- Choice of Wi-fi and Wi-Fi plus 3G
- GPS (3G model only)
- Bluetooth
- 8GB internal memory
- SD card reader (compatible with 32Gb SD cards)
- HDMI out
Like the V1 and it’s Smartcover-esque V cover, the 8 inch Android powered V2 also gets it’s own custom accessory, in the form of a dock with 2 extra built in USB 2.0.
The V2 dock allows the smart looking tablet to be charged while not in use, and thanks to the extra USB ports we can transfer digital data or even plug in a keyboard to do some more productive work while the dock holds the screen at the optimum viewing angle!
Plus there’s a HDMI out to plug the 8 inch Android tablet into a HD TV!
We can’t wait to get our hands on either the Visture V2 or Visture V1 tablets, and plan to bring you more Visture Android tablet news later this week.
