So Apple has disappointed a few, but not really surprised us, with the release of the iPhone 4s. Like the iPhone 3GS update before it the iPhone 4S is just a souped up version of the standard iPhone 4, but how do they stack up against each other specification wise?
Take a look at the hardware specification sheet below to see how the iPhone 4S looks when compared to the iPhone 4.
Gizchina News of the week
The iPhone 4S has a few notable upgrades over the iPhone 4 such as an upgraded rear camera which is now 8-megapixels which should produce much sharper images than the current iPhone 4’s 5 mega-pixel unit.
The iPhone 4S also gets a updated Apple A5 dual core CPU which on paper doesn’t seem like much of an upgrade as it is clocked at 1ghz, the same as the iPhone 4’s A4 chip, but that extra core should have apps opening and closing much faster and smoother.
But in hardware terms there isn’t all that much in the way of differences between the new iPhone 4s and the current iPhone 4.
Will you wait for the iPhone 5?
So the big question is, do you get a souped up iPhone 4S now, or wait until May 2012 to get your hands on the all new iPhone 5?
