The iPhone 4S will be available shortly in the US and across Europe, but Chinese Apple fans still have some time to wait before the 8 mega-pixel, Siri equipped iPhone 4 arrives on these shores.
Thankfully Apple China has reduced the price of the current iPhone 4 and also the price of the now positively ancient iPhone 3GS.
Gizchina News of the week
iPhone 4 prices have been slashed by as much as 500 RMB (which is roughly $80) bring the 16GB iPhone down to 4,548 Yuan ($712) and the 32GB down to 4,998 Yuan ($783).
The iPhone 3GS, which never really received much public attention in China, is now marked down at only 2,888 Yuan ($452).
The iPhone 4S, which was introduced by new Apple CEO Tim Cook earlier this week doesn’t have an official release date in China, but with the current iPhone price drops we should see it arrive within the month.
