China has big plans for space with the first module of their space station already in orbit above our head at this second.
Currently China’s staff of Astronauts is made of an all male group of candidates, but that could all change in 2012 with flights Shenzhou-9 and 10.
Director of Astronaut Center of China (ACC) states that they are currently in the process of deciding if they will send woman astronauts to space and added they may have already have a couple of candidates lined up.
If the decision is made the first female Chinese astronauts could make it in to space in 2012 for the historic docking of Shenzhou 9 and 10 with space lab module Tiangong.
