Those lucky so and so’s in Hong Kong can actually walk in to the Apple store, or one of the many Apple resellers in Hong Kong and pre-order an official iPhone 4S for it’s official launch on 11th November.
The iPhone 4S will cost 5088 Yuan for the 16GB model rising to 6688 Yuan for the 64GG in Hong Kong, which is much much cheaper than the grey market prices been asked if you want to buy an iPhone 4S now in the area.
Speaking of the Grey market, it still remains as the only place for those of us living in the mainland of China to get hold of the new iPhone, as there is still no official release date although it is expected to launch in December.
The good news is that it seems Apple are trying to resolve the delay in their products launching in the mainland and have began the search for a Regulatory Compliance Manager who can help speed up Apple’s certification process in China.
