The ROM, which is available for a number of Android tablets, gives the Kindle Fire an enhanced, Honeycomb-like version of Android Gingerbread.
While the ROM has been made officially available through the XDA developers board, there are some gliches which need to be fixed before the modded firmware is ready for public use. Wi-fi and other features are reported to work, but the touchscreen isn’t currently working! making this mod one for the hackers only.
