The Meizu MX is Meizu’s latest Android smartphone to take on the likes of the iPhone 4S, Samsung Nexus, Xiaomi and others. But is this Chinese Android smartphone up to the job?
Take a look at the full Meizu MX specification after the jump!
The Meizu MX is Jack Wong’s 4-inch screened smartphone baby. The Meizu CEO has been dreaming about this phone and even leaking details and plans of it before even the current Meizu M9 launched early this year!
With today’s official announcment on the Meizu website that the MX would finally launched on 1st January, we have also managed to get full official details of the MX’s specification and details of some of it’s more advanced features!
Meizu Could Storage
Just like Apple’s iCloud, the Meizu MX, and presumably the M9, will be able to access, store and download content from Meizu’s servers via Wi-fi or 3G.
Meizu started as an MP3 brand, and the company still prides it’s phones as excellent music players, which they are so we will likely see Meizu’s cloud service heavily intergrated in to the music player and Meizu’s online music store!.
Orientation-aware buttons
One of the Meizu MX’s nice little features is that the option and back buttons either side of the physical home button will be orientation-aware, which makes sense now after seeing those leaked MX images a few days back!
Meizu’s First International Phone
Meizu have been planning to expand in to the international market for some time. The M9 was slated to be released in France after getting a CE certificate, and more recently the company confirmed plans for a flagship store to open in Hong Kong.
