There are plenty of rumors surrounding the next iPad, most centering around the size of the screen, however today new reports suggest that Apple are planning to to release not 2 new iPads but 3!
Digitimes are reporting to vendors in the supply chain to Apple are claiming that 3 new iPads will launch on 26th January at the Apple iWorld event.
The rumors suggest that the 3 iPads will be priced to meet a low, mid range and high-end price point, with the cheapest iPad being the same as the current iPad 2 in specification.

It is unsure if the iPad 2 will undergo a name change in its new roll as a low-cost iPad, however we do know that the price point will be much lower than it currently is and will be priced to compete directly with the Amazon Kindle.
iPad 3 Specifications
The mid range and top of the range iPads are rumored to get the new Apple A6 Quad core CPU, with higher resolution screens, and may possibly even get 8 mega-pixel rear cameras.
To keep up with the power demand from the A6 Quad core CPU, and 1,536 x 2,048 high resolution screen a larger capacity battery has also been squeezed in to the new iPads, a whopping 14,000 mAh battery to be precise!
Other than this report over at Digitimes, there is no concrete evidence of these new iPads, but as they are expected to be unveiled in only 4 weeks time at iWorld, we don’t have long to wait!
The speakers here just might make the iPad 3 the loudest iPad yet.
