How would you feel if your technology startup which is only 2 years old had managed to become a billion dollar company? Well this is the question we should be putting to Xiaomi’s founder Lei Jun.
According to a report over at Tech in Asia Xiaomi are pulling in a monthly revenue of a staggering $158 million which after a bit of rough maths equals to more than $1.8 billion a year!

To keep up with demand the Xiaomi factory manufacturing the Android Xiaomi M1 smartphones is producing 500,000 units a month (about 25,000 a day) and is still struggling to satisfy consumer demand!
The Xiaomi M1 Androidsmartphone sells for a very reasonable 1999 Yuan ($313) and boasts a 4.3 inch touch screen, 8 mega-pixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.5 Ghz dual core CPU, 1GB Ram and all the regular smartphone goodies such as GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.
