The Zopo ZP100 Android smartphone from Chinese phone maker Zopo recently received a ROM updating giving the competitive Chinese phone the latest version of Android, 4.0 Ice-cream Sandwich. So Now you have your Ice Cream Sandwich it’s time to get ROOT access!
Gaining root access to any Android device is much like jailbreaking an iPhone or iPad. The Root allows users to install hacks and apps normally not supported by their phones and also let’s the user have full control of the file systems.

I get “error: no device found”.
The phone is connected for sure. Does this work on Windows 8, or only Windows 7??
Hi Daniel I guess it doesn’t work with Window’s 8 just yet.
Andi, well, thanks for making this post. Hopefully I can procure a windows 7 machine and get it done 🙂
No worries hope you can get it sorted!

Hello andy,
great job you’re doing out here.
i had to restore my zp100 to factory settings, after done, sim card issues appears. 1 sim card set as not working , the other works but can not make or receive phone calls. (although both work well in another phone).
also it says invalid imei for both .
I did not use zopo mobile tool before resetting to factory settings, nor backed up the imei . how can i get the phone to work normally as before with 2 sim cards. and a valid imei .
thank you very much .

Hi,
Just got myself a ZP500.
Does the package works on it as well or should I wait for something else?
Thanks.
I wouldn’t risk it
Hi, thanks for the prompt reply.
If you ever stumble upon a package for the ZP500, would you be so kind to post it here?
I’ll be following this tread.
Dan
I actually just had a quick look for you but only found an ICS rom download for the ZP500 no news on a root yet.
